EFFEBI’s R&D Dept. has the newest tools for its mission, allowing the development of several projects for international markets. The products and a lot of special technical solutions are protected by patents. Some usual tests for EFFEBI’s laboratories are:

  • life-cycle tests with controlled pressure, temperature and humidity in its metrological centres
  • corrosion tests in salt-fog, according to international standards (such as ISO and ASTM, or customer tailored ones)
  • cycle blow-out or resistance tests, pneumatic of hydraulic operated
  • Hardness tests with durometers
  • measure of the thickness of galvanic or chemical surface coatings (nickel, chrome, zinc plating, etc.)
  • test of the parameters for electric equipments
